Happy Halloween

I was running short on time the whole month of October and was only able to make a few Halloween cards this week. Anyhow, here's what I was able to come up with on short notice. The image is from one of my graphics programs and then I accented it with sponging SU ink and adding stickles glitter glue. I added the sentiment on the sign too. The ribbon is some I received in a large ribbon buy a few years ago - perfect Halloween colors. The Bat punch is from Martha's line at Michael's (you may be lucky and find it on clearance now that Halloween is over!) All Cardstock is SU (eggplant, old olive, only orange). Have I mentioned how much I LOVE SU cardstock? It's pretty cool knowing that I can walk into my basement and I will have a color that coordinates perfectly with any project I am working on! (As for actually FINDING it in my basement....well THAT is another story!!) ;)

Stamp Camp Card # 5

This Winter Holiday/Christmas themed card was a favorite among the campers. I think the added gems/jewels to the center of the snowflakes really give it flair! After I scanned it in, I located some even smaller gems/jewels and added them to the 2 smaller snowflakes for extra bling!

Spooky Spider Snack Jar using Decor Elements

I told myself I wasn't going to get hooked on these and I promised my DH too, but alas...they are just SO DANG EASY TO USE!!

I did this in less than 3 minutes (and that included cleaning the glass jar!)

Simply apply the Stampin' Up! Decor elements to a glass jar of choice and Viola! you have an incredible gift to give (or keep for yourself!)

It looked pretty bare with just that little bit of candy on the bottom of the jar (which is hard to see from the angle I took the photo), so I threw in the popcorn balls and it added a nice splash of color for the photo. The jar is from Michael's and they have a TON of them in different shapes/sizes. This one is the "Terrarium" and it comes with the lid. The spooky spider image is the smallest one (size small) in black.

So, what are you going to make now?

Don't forget, you can order ONLINE from me at anytime simply by going to my SU website at: www.juliesaylor.stampinup.net and clicking on the SHOP NOW button on the top right corner.

Stamp Camp Cards 9 & 10

I completely and totally love these 2 cards. I saw almost identical ones done by another demo and just tweaked a minor details or 2. But with these cards it is all in the "details" that make the card in my opinion. Every little detail just adds MORE to the cards...the charm, the ribbon, the cuttlebug embossing with the SU pastels for a hint of color to the matted computer generated sentiment and even the holes punched on the scallop. Hope you enjoy them too - they seemed to be a big hit at my camp!!
