Quick Sticker Card - Hang in there!

My DD had to complete a school project this weekend and used some of the thousands of stickers that I had leftover from my very first foray into scrapbooking. I decided to show her how quickly you can put together a basic card using them. This is what I came up with.

Nemo!

We have a birthday party to go to this afternoon for my adorable nephew who is turning 3. Here's the card I made last night for him...gee...I wonder what the theme of the party is???

The Nemo image is a very glittery sticker (which is why it looks a little funky from the scan.)

Petal Pizzazz

Hi everyone - it's been a super busy last 2 weeks (which is why I haven't posted lately.) I have been busy getting ready for the semi-annual sale for Dani's Duds. (Lots of tagging and labeling toys and clothes my kids outgrew.) The big sale started Thursday night (for volunteers) and continues tonight (for consignors) and then Saturday and Sunday it is open to the public. To see the sheer size of this sale, you can check out www.danisduds.com for more info/pix.

Here is a nice card to get you inspired to stamp. I really like the effect of the new SU Eyelet border punch on it. It's a basic layout, but the springy colors POP!

Spring Cards coming up at my clipart card class on Friday

These are the last 3 cards that you can make at my Spring Clip Clip Art class. Space is limited...I only have 2 spots left for this class!!!

A couple of people asked if I would do a special class on this, so here are the details:

Date: Friday, April 10th
Cost: $22
Time: 6:30pm
What you will make: 12 cards (3 cards with each image, but they will all be slightly different depending upon your matting/cuttlebug embossing folder choices and sentiment choices). I will have many of my cuttlebug folders out for you to choose from so you decide if you want yours to “look like the sample” or experiment on your own with the textures.

This special clip art Spring/Easter themed card class will feature CLIP ART images (see some of them from my previous stamp/scrap weekend posts!) There will be very little stamping on these cards. You only stamp the sentiment on the front or inside of the card. The main focus of the cards is a cute clipart image that you cut out and then you will use the cuttlebug to emboss various pieces/parts.

What to bring: You will need to bring your own adhesive.
If you have a pair of microtip scissors (SU papersnips or Cutterbee or Fiskers) bring them too. If you don’t have the scissors, I will have extras available for you.

The images that will be used are: a duck with easter eggs, a bunny with chicks, lamb with flowers and bunny with flowers. (The first 2 images are definitely more Easter themed, while the last 2 can be used for anything from birthday, thinking of you, get well soon, happy spring to more!)

Light snacks and drinks will be served.
RSVP by April 8th to confirm your spot!

Christmas Snowman Card

I wanted to get a jump start on some of my Christmas cards. This one features a snow lady stamp from High Hopes. The snow lady has been colored with copic markers. I usually like to do a handful of some "non traditional" Christmas/Holiday colored cards and this one fits the bill. The sentiment will be stamped later as I may decide to turn it into my holiday thank you notes.
