Just Ducky...

I did a little Spring cleaning today and unearthed a box of stamps that had been buried. Needless to say, I had to look through them and of course once I saw these, I had to stop cleaning and make 2 quick cards. Same design and elements, just slight variations on the coloring. Oh! And on 1 card I used pop dots.
Enjoy them and I hope YOUR day is just ducky too!

I just re-opened my online store, so if you are interested in purchasing this card, it is listed on my ETSY shop at the following address (stay tuned for more cards and creations to be loaded there soon!):
http://www.etsy.com/shop/somanystamps

(BTW - I only got to watch New Moon once this weekend, but I did get all the cards done for the stamp camp and they are great!!) :)

Baby Boy Card

So the other day my DH tells me about a coworker of his whose wife just had a baby boy and the delivery was not planned to be done at home, but it just happened and the Mom delivered her baby all by herself and tied off the umbilical cord with a Pampered Chef Twixit clip. AMAZING! You gotta give this Mom props!! Anyhow, this card is headed off to them today :)

Ink: Bashful Blue

Sparkly Baseball (no....not Twilight related)

For all the Twilight fans, this card is NOT for you...LOL. (Although I DO have some Twilight inspired stamps that are just waiting to get inked and maybe I can get to that this weekend in between watching NEW MOON again and finishing up the prep work for my stamp camp on 3/26. NEW MOON comes out on DVD Saturday - wooo hooo!)

Anyhow, I had to make a quick baseball themed card last night and this is what I came up with. I printed a cute baseball playing bear, accented him with glitter glue, added a sentiment and some punched stars and mounted it with a coordinating background paper. The only thing that took "time" was waiting for the glitter glue to dry.

Kids Class - St. Patrick's Day Card # 3

Here's the final St. Patty's day card I did at my kids class last week. It's hard to tell from the scan, but the shamrocks are party confetti in gold and green - very very shiny foil etc. (Because they are shiny, they scan "black".) Anyhow, the kids loved this one because they could color the truck whatever shades of green etc. they wanted.

Kids Class - St. Patrick's Day Card 2

Here's card # 2 for my kids class. I try to keep them fairly basic. We only have a short time to get them done and some of the older kids usually help the younger ones with knots in the ribbon, working some of the punches etc.

Tinkerbell Card - ultra easy & fast

Hey want a neat & inexpensive way to make a ton of cards quick? I purchased a pack of mini playing cards for a buck and use them on various cards. Simply coordinate the cardstock to the colors of the image and you can make invitations, thank you, birthday cards or whatever you need. Tonight, I needed a bday card FAST to go along with a bday present that was Disney/Tinkerbell themed...so naturally this mini-card fit the theme perfectly. The only thing stamped is the sentiment and it's an old SU retired sentiment. C/S colors are white, gable green, barely banana and bashful blue.

Cancun Mexico Part 5 - final post about it

Weird....it looks like some of my pictures never posted....sigh....here are the rest that I already wrote about.

Dessert, Pool Bar, View looking out the front of our room, Clocks
