Baby Boy Card

So the other day my DH tells me about a coworker of his whose wife just had a baby boy and the delivery was not planned to be done at home, but it just happened and the Mom delivered her baby all by herself and tied off the umbilical cord with a Pampered Chef Twixit clip. AMAZING! You gotta give this Mom props!! Anyhow, this card is headed off to them today :)

Stamp set: Animal Stories
Ink: Bashful Blue
Accessories: Plaid ribbon, SU NEW PUNCHES called the Scallop Trim Border Punch and Scallop Trim Corner Punch, Swiss Dots embossing folder

More Quick Cards

Here's a sneak peak at another classic and simple design that I have been favoring lately. It uses the cuttlebug and embossing folders and SU's sentiment set called sincere salutations.

I have started to make some end of the year gifts for teachers etc and am torn between making sets of these cards. I am either going to use 5 or 6 various colors and various sentiments OR make sets of a smaller "note card" size using another favorite set of mine "roses in winter". I haven't decided which I will go with yet, so in the meantime I am just papercrafting when I can/what I can.

Winter Themed Holiday Thank you Card

I know Spring is here...but I just wanted to share with you my official "thank you" notes for this past winter season. They were a snap to make with my friendly cuttlebug machine and I whipped out a stack super fast back in December! On a select few (including this sample) I even went the extra step to really make them sparkle, by adding stickles to the cuttlebugged piece of c/s. This design is so universal that these cards could be used as birthday, thank you, Christmas, New Year, Get Well, Thinking of you etc. just by changing the sentiment. Enjoy!
