Stamp Camp Card # 1

We had a great time at Friday's Christmas/Winter themed stamp camp. Everyone liked the cards and loved the fact that 2 of each design were made. I am going to be sticking with that routine for awhile (making 2 each of 5 cards) since things are so busy lately.

Stamp Set featured is: Snow swirled

Kids Class Name Frames

I had my special kids class tonight at the school and it was a great class. It's so neat to see how creative they can be when shown a sample of something and given TONS of colors and papers/stamps to choose from. Here are the name frames that everyone created pretty much all on their own. (I helped match up a few ink colors to cardstock once or twice, but they choose the paper, stamps, inks, frame color etc.)

Something Cheery!

I promised a little person that we would stamp today and these were our 2 creations. My only request was that we use up some of the designer paper I have (which I absolutely LOVE). The little person picked the paper and cardstock to use and we did our own thing. (Except for when I was advised that my card needed to have more jewels AND I needed the same amount on each section...so of course I added more bling!)

The butterfly stamp is from the retired SU set Garden Whimsy and the Thank you is from the current SU set WOW Flowers.

Project from my Kids Class

WOW. Can we say EXHAUSTED? I had my kids class at the local school yesterday and had 10 kids participating from 1st - 6th grade. I am beat!! This altered candle and dish was the project and it was amazing to see how each child changed it up and did their own thing with it. I let them choose between about 25 different pieces of decorative patterned paper as well as 8 colors of coordinating ribbon for each pattern and the end result was that no two were alike. I don't even think I remember seeing any 2 people choose the same patterned paper!! We also did 2 Fall/Thanksgiving cards and those will be posted in the next couple of days. (The same designs will most likely also be used for my Thanksgiving card.)

Hope everyone has started on their holiday shopping...I saw a blurb today on a blog that said 41 shopping days until Christmas!! ACK!
