C/S: White, Close to Cocoa, So Saffron, Bashful Blue
Ink: Basic Brown, So Saffron
Accessories: 3 flower punch, scallop edge border punch, soft subtle brads, 1/16th hole punch, foam tape

Stamp Camp Card # 2

Here's a slight variation of card # 2 that we are doing at the April Stamp Camp tonight (4/30)...(the card tonight will have a slightly different background paper). As always, the sentiment can be changed to just about whatever you need.

Stamps: Pocket full of posies (retired), Warmest Regards
C/S: White, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Rose Red SU Designer Paper (retired)
Ink: Basic Black, Rose Red
Accessories: SU Ticket Corner Punch, SU Photo Corner Punch
Markers: Pink, Rose, Green

Stamp Camp Card # 1

Here's a sneak peek at the first card we are doing at my April Stamp Camp tomorrow night. It is very similar to the one I did at my kids class, except for the extra scalloped edge mat in black and a brighter shade of green :)

Stamps: Happy Moments (SAB 2010)
C/S: White, Pink Passion, Basic Black, Gable Green
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Markers, polka dot ribbon, swiss dots embossing folder, scallop trim border punch

Kids stamping Class Card # 1

Here's the first card we did at my Kids Stamping Class for April.
It was a Spring/Floral theme, so the kids could use whatever sentiments they wanted.

We will do a card similar to this with a few changes at my April Stamp Camp. The scan washed out some of the colors (not sure why)... the card is actually brighter in person.

First Holy Communion Invitation - Boy

As promised, here's the invite I did for my DS several years ago. A few minor changes from my DD's but the layout is the same etc.

Colors used were Night of Navy, Bordering Blue, White C/S.
Gold embossing Powder. Gold eyelets, white ribbon
Sentiment was done on the computer and punched out and then matted to a solid oval (instead of scalloped oval for DD's). It is also a smaller sized font on the boy invite.

Here's a plug for where I will be this weekend (Non-stamping related)....
http://www.danisduds.com/
I am headed to the CONSIGNORS sale on Friday night and will be shopping bright and early at 1/2 price day on Sunday. I can't wait. I love going to Dani's. It happens only twice a year and I have massive consignments at each sale. I have cleared out a ton of toys, clothes, books, shoes there and I have finally made a significant dent in all of the stuff we have been storing. Woohoo! I have an extra ticket if someone wants it. It will get you in on either SATURDAY or SUNDAY for Free. Just email me and let me know when you can pick it up...first come, first served.

First Holy Communion invitation - Girl

DD is making her 1st Communion in May. Here are the invitations I did for it.
Since I like to keep things "even" between the kids, it is basically the same as the one I did for DS several years ago. I only changed the color scheme from blues/gold cross, to pinks/silver cross. The only other change is that I added dry embossing to the pink layer to give the it a little something extra. I hav DS's invite tucked away and will get it out and try to post it tomorrow in case you never saw it before so you can compare.

SU Color Renovation

Stampin' Up made a HUGE announcement yesterday, they are doing a MAJOR COLOR RENOVATION!!!! Just like everything, there are trends in today's market, including color. They have put two years of planning into this and have decided to retire many of the current colors, but bring in some fresh new colors. There will be brand spanking new color collections, and total re-vamping of the color families.

Some of the old "In Colors" will be returning as core colors. Remember Pink Piourette, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, River Rock, and Wild Wasabi? Those are some just some of the returning colors!!!

Many of the current colors will be gone. If there are some colors you are eyeing, my suggestion is to get them while they are still here! If you love a certain color or started a major project that you keep coming back to, make sure you have enough ink/ink refills, cardstock, accessories in the colors you need. Also; Don't forget your craft ink refills as well as your classic ink refills.

Here is a list of the RETIRING COLORS, which will be in effect with the new catalog in July:

Bold Brights
• Glorious Green
• Green Galore
• Gable Green
• YoYo Yellow
• Only Orange
• Pink Passion
• Pixie Pink
• Orchid Opulence
• Lovely Lilac
• Brilliant Blue

Earth Elements
• Close to Cocoa
• Creamy Caramel
• Really Rust
• Ruby Red
• Cameo Coral
• Summer Sun

Rich Regals
• Bordering Blue
• Brocade Blue
• Ballet Blue
• Taken with Teal
• Handsome Hunter

Soft Subtles
• Pale Plum
• Blush Blossom
• Apricot Appeal
• Barely Banana
• Mellow Moss
• Sage Shadow
• Almost Amethyst
• Lavender Lace

I am trying to upload the color sheets, but I keep getting errors...hopefully I can get that resolved fairly quickly so you can see the colors.

Bright & Cheery Quick cards

I started working on my DD's birthday invitations as well as 1st Communion invitations this week, so I have lots of little piles of stamping things everywhere. Anyhow, as I was going through some of my decorative paper, I found a pack that I snagged at the dollar spot at the big red bulls eye store a few weeks ago and thought that I needed to make some simple & quick "bright" cards (since it hit 77 degrees today!! Everything was already out in my piles, so I threw these together in a couple of minutes.
