Decor Elements are Retiring too!
This Accessories List includes all the non-stamps that will be retiring to make room for new in the upcoming June 1st release of the Stampin’ Up Catalog.
Some of the Accessories are listed at 60% off!
To see the list:
Click my link: http://juliesaylor.stampinup.net then click "products" at the top and "shop now" and then "retiring products" for your choice of list!
Important Details!
The earlier you order, the better your chances are of getting the discounted items listed or some of the hot accessories like punches, refills, etc.
SU will not re-stock the accessories. Retiring Stamp Sets can be ordered until May 31st as they make them but accessories cannot so when they are gone, they are gone.
Stampin’ Up is NOT retiring any colors except the 2010 In Colors (Peach, Pear, Poppy, Blushing Bride and Concord!) When you see markers, card stock or ink pads on the list it is because they are changing how it is delivered or package. You will see one ASTERISK next to those items which mean *Being reconfigured and Two ASTERISKS mean retiring items from the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog
ALL Craft (pigment) pads are retiring except for white and black. They had only offered those in the spots this last year, so be sure to get the refills of those before they are gone if you have those pads and like them. Craft pads are different from Classic pads in that they are waterproof once dry and scrapbookers like them. They are also a wet ink that you can heat emboss with powder.
12″ x 12″ Textured Card Stock will no longer be offered
Only select Stampin’ Write Markers will be available individually (Stampin’ Write Markers in color collections will continue to be offered)
12″ x 12″ Smooth Card Stock will only be available in select individual colors and color collections. Sounds like this is an issue of them looking at what sells and what doesn’t and repackaging.
With the introduction of the 2012-2013 annual catalog, SU has made a very big change to our Stampin’ Pads. They are introducing Firm Foam pads! They say they change your stamping experience for the better! ( I hear they feel like a VersaMark pad but I haven’t tried them yet)
This is what SU says:
You’re going to love these new Stampin’ Pads-just look at all the exciting benefits listed below:
Provide better ink coverage for your stamps!
Light-tap stamping produces flawless images!
Pad stays juicier for longer resulting in better ink pad longevity!
In addition, our new Stampin’ Pads
Have a crisply printed, glossy label on the top of the pad that is easier to read and that will not fade or chip off!
Come with color name labels in all four languages (English, Spanish, French, and German)-just choose your language, peel it off the back, and add it to the side of the pad for easy identification!
Use the same patented flip-top case design that stores the inking surface upside down, so the pad surface stays moist!
Are available in all colors, including our exclusive In Colors!
Please note: Five ink colors have undergone formula changes to improve functionality and color stability with the new firm foam pads.
These colors are
Basic Black
Basic Gray
Marina Mist
Perfect Plum
Tempting Turquoise
All five colors of the reformulated inks have been fully tested and approved. While using the new ink formula in the old Stampin’ Pads is fine, we do not recommend using the old ink formula in the new firm foam pads. Any refills purchased after April 30, 2012, will contain the new formulated ink.*
* The new ink formula for Basic Gray, Perfect Plum, and Tempting Turquoise (for both Stampin’ Ink Refills and firm foam Classic Stampin’ Pads) will not be available until June 1. In addition, the Neutrals, Subtles, and Brights ink color collections will not contain the newly formulated ink for Basic Gray, Perfect Plum, and Tempting Turquoise until June 1st.
